An ITM Partnership Forum where the association is teaming up with the Hotel Booking Agents' Association (HBAA) for a 3/4 day of education and debate on corporate accommodation programmes.

Please join the Institute of Travel Management (ITM) and HBAA for a ¾ day joint event focusing the corporate accommodation sector - the event will focus firstly on how to effectively contract and establish a corporate accommodation programme. This will be followed by a second session on the issues surrounding communicating an established programme to all users and stakeholders and managing providers in the supply chain.
The day will end after lunch with a final session looking at the changes in the market sector and the impact for managing corporate programmes in the future.

10.00 - 11.15 Session # 1 - The Fresh Start


Sourcing and managing corporate accommodation programmes can be time consuming and expensive. This session will hear the inside track from a hotel revenue manager and explore the most effective way to establish a programme - from defining what you want from your hotels and other providers, whether you should be demand or procurement focused, setting up an effective RFP and running the selection process - to the point that the programme is set up.

It will also explore the considerations in moving from a single country programme to multiple regions and the effective ongoing management of the sourcing process from year to year.

11.45 - 13.00 Session #2 - Putting it to Bed


The second session of the day will take a look at the most effective way of maximizing the corporate accommodation programme once it is established.
It will consider how a programme should be communicated to end users and other internal stakeholders including what feedback you should encourage and use, and what training needs to be provided to the intermediaries. In addition, the session will consider just how often and at what level you should manage accommodation partners throughout the year.

13.00 - 14.00 Lunch


14.00 - 15.15 Session # 3 - Dream or Nightmare?

This final session will look at how the changing dynamics of the accommodation market are already beginning to impact corporate accommodation programmes and what the scenery might look like in the future.
A vital session for every forward thinking corporate manager of accommodation, it will consider how new content, meetings & events convergance, fragmentation, new ownership models and anti-standardization will change the management of this business travel sector.

15.15 - 15.30 Wrap up and Close by Mark Harris & Paul Tilstone , Executive Director of ITM UK & Ireland
