NBTA Europe Virtual Forum
Join buyers from across the NBTA global network to take a look at the impact of alternative technologies on the role of the travel & meetings buyer.
The intimate event, being held using the latest telepresence equipment in the Regus business centres across London, Paris and New York, will begin with a brief presentation by Jay Campbell of ProMedia.travel about existing market research on the role and impact of advanced videoconferencing and particularly telepresence in the corporate world. Simon Hunt from Regus will provide delegates with an overview of the developments of video conference and then Mark Avery, Head of Business Services from PricewaterhouseCoopers, will detail his interactions with telepresence and other video conference options and its management and challenges within the PwC corporate environment. Participants will be encouraged to add their preconceptions or general thoughts and experiences, as well.
Delegates will discuss what their role is in the procurement and utilisation of such systems, and how they should work with other stakeholders in their organisations on policies and guidance for travelers. How do you judge whether using a telepresence suite is better than a face-to-face meeting and what other management issues need considering? The session aims to arm you with an understanding of the issues and solutions for managing video conference alongside traditional travel solutions.
The full session commences across the three connected locations via video conference at 10am in New York - hosted by Jay Campbell, 3pm in London - hosted by Paul Tilstone and 4pm in Paris - hosted by Yann Le Goff.
