ITM ICARUS Environmental Awards for Suppliers - Goes Live today
The ITM ICARUS Environmental Awards for suppliers are designed to recognise supplier innovation and leadership in environmental impact reduction.
Entry to these awards is now open to all business travel suppliers and will be judged by a specialist Project ICARUS panel chaired by Dr Keith Mason, Cranfield University.
The other judges include Dr Jonathan Koehler – Cambridge University, Tim Johnson – Airline Environmental Federation, Robert Millburn – PricewaterhouseCoopers, David Rabey – DEFRA, Callum Thomas - Manchester Metropolitan University, Peter Morrell – Cranfield University and Rebecca Hawkins – CESHI
Entry is open until midnight on Friday 14th September 2007.
To enter please go to http://www.itm.org.uk/icarus/icarus_awards.asp
The awards themselves will not carry any sponsorship, nor will there be a special dinner or event to announce the winners – to ensure that the awards are kept as clean as possible. The winners will, however, be the first and only suppliers invited to join the ICARUS team for one year.
The winners will be announced by webcast on Monday 15th October at midday.
Buyers, do your bit…
The association is encouraging all ITM buyers to promote details of the awards to all of their suppliers in an effort to encourage companies with strong environmental activity to be recognized, no matter how small they might be.
