ITM CONFERENCE SOLD OUT!

Updated: 01-04-2008

The Institute of Travel Management has announced that its 2008 conference - which takes place in Dublin in a fortnight's time - is completely sold out for the very first time and ensures a record attendance at this event.

500 delegates from the UK, Europe and America will attend the Conference, another record in the 34 year history of the event! Just under 200 buyers will join suppliers, VIPs and media delegates on 16th April for over 20 business sessions, networking opportunities and keynote speakers including leading futurist Ian Pearson and former Labour Party Director of Communications Alastair Campbell.

So why has the conference proved so popular this year? According to ITM's Head of Marketing Mark Harris, it's a case of 'content is king'. "Despite again receiving excellent delegate feedback from last year's event in Edinburgh, we've worked hard to come up with a programme that delivers the ever-expanding education needs of our members. For example, this year's programme features over 60 speakers in 16 breakout sessions across four streams beneath our overall theme of Evolution."

A packed programme will also see four businesses offering up ideas new to business travel face a panel of industry heavyweights in ITM's own version of a popular TV show. Enter The Dragons will see the four hopefuls compete for prizes including £10,000 worth of free marketing via ITM.

On a lighter note, the association will also present another adaptation of a TV programme. Have I Got Business Travel News For You will close the second day of the conference and will pit two teams against each other for the coveted ITM Conference trophy.

ITM's 2008 Conference takes place at the Crowne Plaza Northwood from 16th - 18th April.
