ALASTAIR CAMPBELL TO SPEAK AT ITM CONFERENCE
As the Labour government found its feet after coming to power in 1997, Blair relied for his political advice on a close circle of his own staff. Campbell was seen as particularly influential, and was sometimes referred to as the "real Deputy Prime Minister".
He will join futurologist Ian Pearson as the two keynotes at ITM's 34th annual conference, this year being staged at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Northwood, near Dublin Airport. Over 350 delegates have already registered for the event, which also sees a significant increase in the number of sessions taking place over the two days of the event.
Commented ITM's Head of Marketing Mark Harris. "This year we have four separate content streams, each of four sessions across a common theme. We have streams dedicated to corporate issues, meetings, sourcing and the future, so delegates will be able to choose the content most relevant to them. ITM's conference has become increasingly popular amongst buyers because we pack a huge amount of educational, networking and business development opportunities into two days. Once again we will be trying to exceed our delegates' expectations and to provide something for everyone."
The 2008 line up also includes a one-off edition of Have I Got (Business Travel) News For You and Enter The Dragons, in which delegates will pitch their ideas for new products and services to a panel of industry experts. All conference sessions are being filmed for ITMtv, the association's new broadband TV service on which members can view footage from the event.
Spaces are available to ITM buyer and supplier members, and to buyers who are not members of the association. Buyer members have until 29th February to take up their free places at the event, whilst non-member buyers can register at the special rate of £135. To register, go to www.itm2008.org
