ITM STAFFS UP FOR EXPANSION

Updated: 09-06-2008

The association, under the leadership of the new chairman Caroline Strachan from Yahoo!, is looking for two new staff to help take the organisation forward into 2009.  On the 30th May the board approved the search for two key positions, both being recruited for by Heather Cotterrill from ITM Recruitment.

The first of the positions, the General Manager, will report directly to the Executive Director and the board with a responsibility to manage the secretariat, the creation of ITM Academy ( the association's new educational project) and the development of partnerships and projects.  The role will also assume a deputy position for Paul Tilstone, Executive Director, for the public role ITM often plays.

The second position has been created to build upon the success of the association, primarily through Mark Harris, in raising revenues through sponsorship and advertising.  The Industry Relations role will seek to work with suppliers wishing to align their brand with ITM to bring creative and innovative marketing opportunities to the market and provide the financial means for ITM to work hard in areas of education, research and other member benefits.  It will also mean a greater ability to build on the relationships  with the many suppliers who have been supporting ITM for some time.

The two roles will combine to consolidate the work done to date and take the association to the next level.

If you've therefore got a passion for this industry and would like to find out more about these positions please contact Heather Cotterill directly at hcotterill@itmrecruitment.co.uk  .  The deadline for the submission of CV's is 30th June.
