ITM SEEKS NEW STAFF

by Paul Tilstone | Updated: 28-02-2008

The association is embarking in 2008 on a secretariat expansion,  with a variety of new roles being created to support the increase in membership, sponsorship and educational activity.

Whilst most of the details for the exact roles for additional staff are still being developed, the first of these roles has been created in light of the association's Marketing and Events Co-ordinator, Daniel Cockton, leaving to take up a position at HRS.  The management team have decided to alter this role to focus primarily on keeping the website content dynamic and fresh and on member communications.  The title of the position now reflects this as a Marketing and Communications Executive.  The remainder of the new roles under development will encompass education and training and project management in particular.

The association is presently inviting cv's to be submitted for consideration for the position which will ideally be based out of the Macclesfield head office initially, although some home-working will also be available within the role as part of ITM's approach to CSR

The individual would ideally have some business travel knowledge although aptitude and the ability to work logically through issues and to tight deadlines is more of an attribute.  The position offers a great opportunity for someone to work right at the heart of the travel management industry and as part of a dynamic and creative team.  It is essentially a great starting or second position for someone keen to make travel management their career.

For a complete job description please contact secretariat@itm.org.uk and submit cv's for consideration to this address too.
