ITM first launched a programme of Supplier Training in 2007 and the courses have become incredibly popular, supported by a professional training company on behalf of ITM.

New tailored supplier training courses in partnership with MG Training Solutions

ITM is launching a revised supplier training programme for 2009. The programme takes into account the need for more tailored one day courses and in these "credit crunch" times has trimmed training costs with courses starting at £195 through to £249 plus VAT.

Mark Gallen - Principle Training Consultant 

His sales experience includes working for a major international hotel group. After which he worked for Carlson Wagonlit Travel, negotiating client hotel programmes on behalf of corporate clients. His sales career also includes Vodafone, the Thomson Directory and Apple Computers. Since then he's established a fresh, modern approach to sales training, using actor-based simulation and individual learning styles. He closely follows trends in hospitality and travel sales to ensure his approach is relevant and up to date.

Mark holds a Certificate in Training Practice with the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development, the recognised body for training qualifications in the UK, with a BSc in Hotel and Catering Management.

Helen Sandman - Senior Training Consultant

A senior training consultant with MG Training, Helen started her career in sales with a major international hotel group, before spending ten years with Inntel, pitching for new corporate contracts and negotiating client hotel programmes. Helen joined MG in 2003 and split her time working between MG Training and as a Account Director in the industry's leading hotel booking agency, Zibrant. This means she's uniquely equipped to bring real-life examples into her training, and can relate directly to the latest industry challenges facing our participants. In 2008 Helen joined MG full time with a commercial responsibility whilst continuing to deliver training to MG's leading accounts. Helen is committed to growing her knowledge and experience of the industry so that she remains relevant and up to date.

She has an HND in Hotel Management and holds a Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
