“Introduction to Travel Management” Workshops
The Introduction to Travel Management workshop programme can be taken individually or as a set of 4. The courses are lead by Dennis Bailey, a travel and purchasing “veteran” with over 15 years experience running multimillion dollar corporate travel programmes on a pan European basis.
Dennis Bailey - ITM Workshop Facilitator
Formerly a Director of the ITM, he spent the last few years of his business life working for a division of Fiat, the giant automotive manufacturer as Travel & Purchasing Manager. He has since formed his own business, DeNovo Management Ltd, which offers independent purchasing and operations management consulting in the travel and indirect/service areas, offering unbiased pro-active management advice to companies of all sizes. Based on past experiences, he can assist organisations in seamlessly bridging the gap between purchasing objectives, and the needs of the traveller base, by ensuring best "value" services are procured and implemented and delivered.
A Good Introduction - These workshops are targeted at individuals who are new to travel management either as a buyer within an organisation or a supplier in the industry.
Experienced Workshop Leadership - All workshops will draw on Dennis's experience and use the experiences and knowledge of the workshop attendees to compare situations to help them to gain broad understanding of some of the different elements which make up Business Travel management as you know it.
Tackle your issues - Prior to each session workshop attendees will be asked to complete a brief questionnaire which will highlight issues to be discussed with all other participants during the day.
Specialist Case Studies - During each workshop an experienced travel professional will present a case study on the workshop topic to give you an insight into industry best practice.

Testimonial
"These ITM Introductory workshops provide the perfect opportunity to get into detail on key travel management principles whilst in the company of peers - and it is the combination of learning and a shared environment which creates such a useful experience for me and my company. I have taken away many ideas and taking part in these workshops has also assisted me immensely with my ITM Professional Certificate in Corporate Travel Management."
