Jamie joined the BBC L2012 project as the Head Of Production in September 2009. His responsibilities include identifying and managing the pan BBC production plans and delivery across all platforms of the major events which make of the L2012 season, including the 2012 Olympic Games. His role also includes responsibility for delivering the pan project business continuity plan.

Jamie is also the Head of Sourcing - Logistics responsible for the strategy, procurement and management of the pan BBC Transport and Travel services. He joined the BBC in 1994 as a booking clerk in BBC Transport. Prior to moving to the Head Of Production roles, he was the Head of Sourcing Production Resources in BBC procurement, responsible for instilling procurement best practice for direct production spend from lighting to props to studios to post production. During this time, Jamie worked with BBC Strategy to introduce Prop provision services and he designed the revised Tech Review processes. He was also the BBC Customer lead and lead negotiator in the sale of BBC Resources to SIS Ltd and managed the contract once appointed. In addition, Jamie also sat on the pan BBC Production Management Executive Board chaired by Dorothy Prior.

As well as being the Chairman of the ITM, Jamie is also a Parent Governor at the Strand on the Green Infants School.

To relax, Jamie is currently completing a Masters in Production Management, currently on his third module.
