Jon Reeve has worked in the travel industry since 1974, initially within an Oil Exploration Plc's travel division. Between 1988 and 1993 he taught Travel and Tourism at North West Kent College, and since 1993 has been commercial director of Harry Weeks Travel and Leisure Group. He played a key role in the Company's development of the successful Travelpackonline" UK rail travel self-booking tool and its Evolvi variant that is used by other TMCs.
Jon believes that the last four years have seen a revolutionary change in the way by which the rail travel product is delivered to the end user, and hopes that by bringing the perspectives of a wider travel management skill set to this environment that the industry has gone a long way towards meeting corporate aspirations for the effective management of this often neglected service category.
