On Thursday 19th October ITM Members, friends, family and sponsors poured into the Innside Manchester for ITM’s annual charity Ball. The event, which boasted record number of guests, ran from 7pm-1am and raised £8,333 for Moodswings, a local charity which helps people recover from mood problems and the severe emotional distress this brings.
Guests enjoyed an auction and a raffle, with lucky winners walking away with prizes including; a McLaren VIP factory Tour courtesy of Hilton Hotels and 2 business class tickets with American Airlines including a 3 night stay at the Pierre New York – a Taj hotel, and a stay in the presidential suite including golf on the iconic Brabazon course home of the Ryder Cup at The Belfry.
ITM’s Midlands/North committee and the ITM team would like to thank Melia Hotels for sponsoring the event, and to The Business Travel Magazine for all their support. We’d also like to give a special mention to everyone who donated a raffle prize – Citizen M, Jury’s Inn, GLH, Virgin Trains, EasyJet, Corinthia Hotel and Manchester United Football Club.
“We are delighted to have raised such an incredible amount of money.” said Jon Bolger, ITM’s Midlands/North Regional Committee Chair. “We knew we had some very generous donations but it was amazing to see that final figure. On behalf of the charity team thank you so much to everyone who attended and/or donated – your money is going to a great cause at Moodswings.”
