ITM is pleased to announce the appointment of Neil Simpson as Head of Business Development effective immediately.
Neil will be responsible for developing and maintaining a portfolio of innovative products and services whilst acquiring support from partners and sponsors to deliver the best value to our members and the industry as a whole.

Neil has been working in sales for 25 years specialising in global event/exhibition and advertising sales. Having held senior positions at Centaur Media including the Business Travel Show and directing Travel Technology Europe, Neil joined Reed Travel Exhibitions in 2011 as Sales Director – Business Travel Market. He moved to Head of Sales for their International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) Portfolio in 2012. From there Neil moved to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia as Group Exhibition Director for Reed Sunaidi Exhibitions, where he oversaw the growth of the business by 42%, before returning to the UK.
Commenting on the new appointment, ITM CEO, Simone Buckley, said: “We are delighted to welcome Neil to the team and back to the UK business travel sector. He has a wealth of experience and many of our partners and members will be pleased to be working with Neil again. I’m confident he will be an asset to the association at this important stage of our evolution.”
Neil will replace Diane Steed who is leaving ITM in February to work as a freelance consultant after 8 years with the association.
