Collinson Column for ITM Members
As we come to the end of another year, Collinson takes a look at some of the key statistics demonstrating a reassuring nod towards travel recovery.
With over half a million Covid-19 travel tests facilitated by us in 2021, it’s clear people are still keen to take to the skies. As new variants and regulations develop, we continue to review our testing proposition regularly to ensure our customers have the most seamless testing journey available.
As you can imagine, the past few weeks have been particularly busy for the Collinson Travel Testing department.
Prior to the recent government announcements (more on that later), in order to improve our customers’ experience when booking a Covid-19 travel test, we upgraded our booking system. The new booking process has been streamlined to make it simpler and much faster for the customer to book a test enabling us to continue meeting traveller needs and expectations by offering an enhanced test-booking experience. In addition, we have made it easier to make group bookings. If customers are travelling with family, or a group of friends, they can now use a single email address for multiple tests as opposed to individual email addresses for each booking.
With regards to the recent government announcements, we are in a fortunate position to be able to quickly respond to the change in requirements and continue to offer the widest range of tests including RT-PCR, Antigen and Antibody.
At the same time, we constantly review our prices against the market, including our supply chain, aiming to deliver as competitively priced travel tests as possible without compromising on quality. We continue to grow our number of locations and offer great value for money to ensure our tests are accessible to all, from solo travellers to families.
For this reason, we have recently lowered the price of a number of our tests, both at our testing sites and at-home options. This update gives travellers more choice and even better value. Our special partner discount code can be applied, offering a huge cost saving, especially when travelling with family and friends.
As we continue to adapt to ever-changing restrictions and navigate through this pandemic, we continue to delve into the important insights that facilitate making strides to recover the travel industry and develop further propositions to provide ever better solutions to travellers.
