Terms and Conditions

By using this site, you agree to the terms of use.
  • ITM does not warrant that the functions contained in the website will be uninterrupted or error free
  • ITM does not accept any liability arising from any inaccuracy or omission in the information or interruption in availability. You are advised to verify the accuracy of any information before relying on it.
  • Any reference to a linked site or third party by name does not constitute or imply its endorsement by us, and you assume all risk with respect to its use.
  • ITM does not verify the accuracy of the information it supplies via third parties; nor does it undertake any analysis or diagnosis of said information. Diligence and care should be taken when using the information.

Membership Application

  • Membership of ITM will provide you with membership at Connect or Business level.
  • ITM will activate Business Membership only once full payment has been received. Settlement of any invoices is deemed to have happened once the full amount has been paid and cleared.
  • You can make a one-off payment for a one year ITM membership subscription by credit/debit card only. Invoicing is possible but will incur a £49 + VAT admin fee.
  • We offer a 14 days’ cooling off period for new members effective from the day your membership is accepted. If you wish to cancel your new member subscription, you must notify us within these 14 days by letter or email (secretariat@itm.org.uk).
  • ITM may decide to increase membership fees at any time. All members will be made aware prior to their renewal date of such changes.
  • Fees are for individual membership only.

Event Registration

The below refers to ITM events, not including conferences, awards, social events or partner training.
  • You may cancel your booking up to 21 days prior to the event and receive a full refund. After that an admin fee may be applied. Please refer to our Refund Policy.
  • All course fees must be paid in full prior to the event. Settlement of any invoices in deemed to have happened once the full amount has been paid and cleared.
  • ITM reserves the right to amend or cancel any course, course times, dates or published prices.
  • Any travel costs incurred are entirely the delegate’s responsibility. ITM does not accept any liability for reimbursement of travel costs.
  • Delegates may substitute their delegate place with another person if they are unable to attend. Written notification is required to substitute a delegate.

Copyright and Trade Marks

  • The names, images, pictures and logos identifying the ITM, are proprietary marks of the Institute of Travel Management. Copying logos and/or any other third party logos accessed via this website is not permitted.
  • Requests for permission to use the ITM logo should be directed to secretariat@itm.org.uk. Tell us how, why you wish to use our logo, and your contact details.
  • Third party materials on this website have been included with the permission of the owner of the rights.
  • ITM does not permit the copying, modification or distribution of material on this website for any commercial use.
  • All names, images, logos, trade marks, service marks, and trade names in this website are the marks of the respective owner(s), and any unauthorised use is prohibited.
  • If you believe that your rights have been infringed in any way, please e-mail us and identify the property that you claim to be infringed. Provide resources to support your claim and contact details. We will respond to the complaint as soon as possible.

Community

  • Views and opinions expressed on this website by individuals do not necessarily reflect the views of ITM.
  • You may not use obscene or offensive language.
  • You may not post any material which compromises the privacy or security of anyone other than yourself.

Hyperlinking to ITM

  • ITM does not object to members and third party partners linking directly to the information hosted on our site. However, we do not permit use of the ITM logo as a link without prior permission or our pages to be loaded into frames on your site. 

Amendments

  • ITM reserve the right at any time to change these terms and conditions, and your continued use of the website after such changes are posted means you agree to be bound by these terms as amended.

Applicable Law

  • These terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
