OBT Survey | 2022

A total of 61 respondents completed the survey, all of which use an Online Booking Tool (OBT) The survey was fielded amongst ITM Buyer members from 22 July - 15 August 2022


As travel resumes at scale and we look to support our TMCs’ resource challenges, it could be argued that the online booking tool is more critical than ever.

However, through numerous conversations with buyer members and following July’s Buyer Knowledge Exchange, it is evident that for many there are challenges with OBTs being able to deliver on today’s needs for both the corporate Travel Manager and the traveller.

As such, ITM has gathered our buyer members’ feedback to present a consolidated and anonymised view on the main challenges and opportunities that exist for OBT providers.

An online survey was fielded amongst our Buyer membership, gathering insight on not only members current levels of satisfaction with their existing OBT provider but also what they see as key in relation to an OBT solution and what’s on their wishlist moving forward.

This report summarises those findings and by sharing with OBT providers, it will allow providers the opportunity to elevate their offering and use the data to support development roadmaps.
