During January’s Buyer Knowledge Exchange the group raised ongoing concerns around the impact of changes in airline distribution on their programmes and in particular managing travellers and stakeholders during this time. These market changes and lack of understanding from stakeholders (in some cases) is placing additional pressures when considering going to market for TMC and OBTs.

As a result of that interest  this ‘special’ BKE has been scheduled to continue that conversation and delve into the below areas distribution and what the ideal TMC and OBT partners look like in helping buyers navigate this period.

  • Protecting the programme & managing stakeholders due to changes in Airline Distribution
  • What is needed from TMC & OBT partners
  • How to successful to go market during a period of industry change
The event will run in a similar format to ITMs regular monthly Buyer Knowledge Exchange where interaction amongst those on the call is encouraged in order to share knowledge, experience and best practice. The meeting, as with any ITM discussion, will not touch on any commercially sensitive information relating to individual supplier agreements.
 
The discussion will be led by Imogen Furness Global Travel Manager at WTW and Kerrie Henshaw-Cox Associate Director Business Travel at AstraZeneca to ensure everyone on the call has the opportunity to input. There are 30 places available on this working session to support active conversation amongst the group.
